Sure, bring on the futures broker! I intend to make a bundle and I will need the help of a financial planner to help me to make the most of my earnings.

I think it is a healthy experience for people to go through a drought or two in their lives. Having survived lean times is actually very equipping. We realize that we do NOT need all the things that the world throws at us.

Once upon a time, I bought into the Madison Avenues lies. But the problem is that nothing that Madison Avenue offers has any real ETERNAL value.

Why should someone spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a piece of clothing that can stain, tear, etc.

Is the person in the designer outfit strolling down Rodeo Drive or Worth Avenue any better than the mother in second hand Target jeans washing her families clothes in a laundromat?

Absolutely not.

The tragic thing is ... the terrible misuse of financial blessings.

Does God really want us to invest the money that he has allowed to flow into our lives for such frivolous things as couture garments.

What if instead .... we donated that money we would have spent for that to die for outfit, to dig a well in Africa that would provide fresh water to human beings?

What if instead ....we donated that money so that the local mother could have a washer and a dryer in her own home?

I want to challenge you to look for opportunities to bless someone else this week!
